Our mission
When we founded Tismoo, our vision was that, through the combination of science and technology, we could improve and accelerate innovations, to allow thousands of families impacted by Autism and other neurological disorders of genetic origin around the world to diagnose, care for and take care of their children in an increasingly faster, more efficient and less painful way. Building this new model of personalized medicine, to bring more quality of life to these families, is our daily mission.

Co-founder & Scientific Consulting
Molecular biologist graduated from Unicamp, with a doctorate in genetics from USP. Postdoctoral fellow in neuroscience and stem cells at the Salk Institute for Biological Research (USA). Today he is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of California at San Diego (USA), and one of the most respected scientists in the field of autism worldwide.

Dra. Graciela Pignatari
Co-founder & Technical Response
Biologist graduated from Camilo Castelo Branco University. Master and PhD in Molecular Biology from UNIFESP and internship at the Department of Pharmacology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Postdoctoral at USP. He has extensive research experience in the areas of Cellular and Molecular Biology, Stem Cells, Cell Therapy and Disease Modeling with a focus on autism.
Dr. Roberto Herai
Co-founder & Bioinformatic Leader
Computer Scientist from (UEPG) with a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He holds a postdoctoral degree in Microorganism Genetics from UNICAMP and in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from the University of California San Diego (UCSD).
Dr. Diogo V. Lovato
Research Scientist
Biomedical from Escola Paulista de Medicina and PhD in Molecular Biology from UNIFESP. Postdoctoral fellow at the National Biosciences Laboratory – CNPEM in collaboration with the Structural Genomics Consortium of the University of Oxford. Research associate at the Structural Genomics Consortium at the University of Toronto, with long experience in functional and structural studies of genes and proteins.
Dra. Iara Brandão
Médica Geneticista e Neuropediatra
Child neurologist from Unifesp, Master in Genetics from the Federal University of Paraná, PhD in Medical Pathophysiology with a concentration area in Neurosciences from Unicamp and specialist title in Medical Genetics from SBGM. He has experience in Child and Adolescent Neurology, Medical Genetics and Molecular Biology applied to medicine. Works at Tismoo as a medical geneticist and neuropediatrician.
